About Sicura

Sicura is a brand of Moorland Contract Janitorial Ltd, a supplier of a complete range of janitorial supplies and washroom products for business, schools, sports and leisure, and was founded by Suzanne Lawson, Director of the MC Group, in 2020.

How Sicura was born

The start of the Covid pandemic in March 2020 saw a huge increase in demand for hand sanitisers and disinfectants. The availability of alcohol-based sanitisers became an issue with existing suppliers due to the spike in demand. Wanting to be able to satisfy demand from our customers we were introduced to the suppliers of a range of white label alcohol-free products manufactured right here in the UK. They offered a full range of products for the home, salon, gym, pets as well as a full range of sanitisers for hands, garments, surfaces, face masks and many more.

And so we needed our own brand under which to be able to supply the range! After much research and deliberation, we settled on the brand name “Sicura”, which is actually Italian for “safe”.

With the increase in pet ownership since the start of the pandemic, the Sicura range has now been extended to include a range of professional pet care products as well as products for the home, gym travel and many more.

Our Products

The sanitising products are tested and certified to kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses including Coronavirus & RNA Enveloped Viruses. Made in the UK, certified to BS EN 1500, BS EN 1276, EN 14476 and ASTM E2315 standards, Sicura sanitising products are:

Alcohol free – in testing they have been proven to be more effective than alcohol-based products.

Ideal for use in educational, religious and BAME communities together with clinical environments where alcohol products cannot be used.

The hand sanitiser remains active on the skin and kills for up to 4 hours
without reapplication.

The hand sanitiser does not dry skin our and is suitable for frequent use. Unlike
alcohol gels which can irritate the skin and cause dermatitis with prolonged use. It contains natural moisturisers (aloe vera and camomile)

Water based and non-poisonous.
